<>Chaves Challenge from The Monitor's View
Chaves has cheated the system once again and has bribed the majority of the population by giving them basic social services. Absolutely Disgusting.
We at the CSM can't possibly Imagine why the majority of the population would vote for such a foolish Leader. He is recklessly squandering the oil revenues on worthless social programs. "He even bought cows with oil money and gave them to poor farmers.” how primitive and backwards of a thing to do. We could have selected some other statistic such as doubling spending on education but we are objective so we chose some clever wording to thinly vial a pretty think superiority complex.

“Chavez’s sorry record of arresting political opponents” as compared to the ideal democracy in neighboring Colombia is discussing.

Frankly we at CSM can't possibly think of a better way to show complete disgust for democratic principals then by electing officials that cater to the majority of the population. If Chavez wants to be democratic he will start “including all of Venezuela's people”, because you know you’re doing something wrong when you only get 60% of the vote.

If CastoAves want to prove himself a democratic leader he will fall inline with the US Neoliberal agenda as soon as possible.

Really that all it takes to be an ideal democracy, hell you don’t even have to have elections. Once your inline with the plan it really does not matter how many people you slaughter (Turkey) or how you come to power (Haiti), how many drugs you sell (Colombia) how much land you steal (Israel) or how many WMD you have (Israel), or how dictatorial your regime is (Sadi Arabia) or how poor your Labor Practices are (lots of places) etc etc etc.
