Your statement seems to imply that the Muslim mujahedeen would be the ones destroying the city when the US military will also be bombing and participating in mass killings. The residents and insurgents of Fallujah do not want to be destroyed, they do not choose destruction out of religious insanity or desire for islamic state as you imply. They are being killed by our choice to kill them. It is truly a cowedly act to give a voice to those that blame the killing of thousands on those that they kill. You could at the very least acknowledge that the US might be involved in the “choice” of destroying Fallujah. I just feel sick. I feel empty when I read statements like these:
"But Muslim mujahedeen, including foreign fighters, are thought to be willing to fight and die for the ultimate goal of an Islamic state. For them, Fallujah's destruction is a worthy sacrifice, the officials say."
